ROTEK GMBH & CO. KG is headquartered at Coloradostr. 11+13, 27580 Bremerhaven, Germany. In 2000 the Treusch family founded the company and took over Hasselbach & Kausch Elektrokleinmotoren GmbH, whose founder Paul Hasselbach had been building a versatile range of synchronous motors and gearboxes since 1984. ROTEK continues that tradition with a focus on highly efficient small motors and customised drive solutions below 200 W. The range covers ROBASE synchronous motors, ROSYNC energy-saving motors (GreenDrive technology, up to 40 % less energy than conventional synchronous motors), ROSLYDE low-noise motors (SmoothDrive technology), ROMOTION brushless DC motors and ROTECT stainless steel motors (1.4404 stainless housing, IP68/IP69K), matched by planetary, worm and spur gearboxes. ROTEK has received the Schütting Prize for Innovation in Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises from the Bremen and Bremerhaven Chamber of Commerce and the "preis umwelt unternehmen: Nordwest 2009" environmental award.
