ROTEK Worm Gearboxes

ROTEK worm gearboxes are the right answer wherever a design needs 90° force deflection or a hollow shaft in a compact envelope. The standard version uses high-quality bronze worm wheels for an extremely long service life under high loads, and for noise-critical environments such as medical or laboratory technology we offer hard-fabric variants that guarantee maximum smoothness. At high ratios the gearbox is self-locking. Ratings are 5 - 12 Nm maximum torque, gear ratios i = 2.5:1 - 100:1, a 31 mm centre distance, and motors up to 50 W (100 W optional). The modular system lets us add a second shaft end or adapt the gearbox to your specific requirements, with low-noise versions and special lubrications available.
